Edward Junius Townsend, 74, of Urbancrest, passed away Monday, January 23, 2006 at his residence. Preceded in death by his parents Edward Junius Townsend and Ruth (O'Bannon) Perry; Brother, Ronald Perry; Sisters, Virginia Cleggett and Betty. Edward is survived by his former wife Ellen Townsend; Children, Barry Townsend, Apollo (Bennie) Harold, Tina Kirby, Dawn Townsend, Ruth Townsend and a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Mr. Townsend will be conducted Thursday, January 26, 2006, at 7:00 P.M. at the First Church of God, 3480 Refugee Road, Columbus, Ohio.
