Edward (Ed) Joseph Yuska, Jr., age 81, was surrounded by family and passed away on April 17, 2024 at Grant Medical Center. He was born as an only child in Columbus, Ohio on May 30, 1942, to Edward Joseph Yuska, Sr. and Mabel Vivian (Root) Yuska. He served in the Army as a military policeman at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. It was there that he met His wife, Pam, where they fell in love and married a few months later. They were married for over 58 years. After his Army service, he was employed by the Columbus Showcase for almost 40 years. Ed had an overwhelming passion for music, movies, relatable books and a variety of television shows, and was a comedic man who enjoyed making his family and friends laugh. He loved his family hard, creating the BEST childhood for his 4 children, and he passed on that love to his 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He also loved and doted on his fur baby cats, Mr. Meow and Miss Orange. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Yuska, Sr. and Mabel (Root) Yuska Hughes. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Rebecca Pamela (Cowan) Yuska; children: David (Pam) Yuska, Suzette (Doug) Camp, Cristi (George) Wenger and Brad (Barbie) Yuska; grandchildren: Trevor (Tiffany) Yuska, Emilee (Josh) Hall, Max Yuska, Hanna (Micah) Hughes, Abigail (Steven) Ruane, Zoe Wenger, Justice Yuska, Tanner Yuska and Madaline (Montrayel) Christy; great-grandchildren: Damian Yuska, Ember Yuska, Brea Hall, Annie Hall, Drexton Hall, May Hughes, Gwen Hughes and Ezra Ruane.
