Edwin W. Burke

Edwin Wilbert Burke, age 94, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2024. Edwin was born on June 4, 1930, in Columbus, Ohio. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Edwin will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 66 years, Joan Marie Burke. Edwin is survived by his four sons: Michael (Regina), David, Ronnie (Kim), and Daniel. Grandchildren: Jason, Daniel, Kali, Steven, Carlie, Sean, Zach, Taylor and many great- grandchildren. Edwin proudly served his country in the United States Navy for three years. Throughout his life, he remained an avid softball player, known for his skills as a pitcher. His love for the sport was a source of joy and camaraderie for many years. Edwin's life was enriched by the strong bond he shared with his late wife Joan, their sons, and their expanding family. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the memories he created with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
