Eleanor Sale

Eleanor Sale, age 91, of Columbus, passed away surrounded by loved ones on January 31, 2025. She was born on November 8, 1933 in Madison County, Ohio to the late Gerhard and Minnie (Scheiderer) Rausch.

Eleanor is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Lewis P. Sale and son Roger Sale.

Those left to cherish her memory include sons Kenneth Sale, Mark (Elaine) Sale, and Tom (Susan) Sale; grandchildren, Melissa (Steven) Edell, Jeffrey (Jacy) Sale, Laura Sale, Matthew Sale, Jason (Kristina) Sweazy, Jeremy Sweazy; seven great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

Eleanor was a loving wife, mother, homemaker and caregiver, especially to Lewis later in life. She loved to travel, play board and card games, square dance, and spend time with friends and family.

Time for visitation with immediate family will be Wednesday, February 26, 2025, from 1pm to 2pm at Newcomer Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville with a service to honor her life following at 2:00 pm.
