Elfriede E. Farkas, 78, passed away on July 25, 2013. She was born on March 23, 1935 in Schrobenhausen, Germany.
Elfriede retired from General Motors after 28 years of employment.
She is survived by her daughter Annette Stark, son, Stephen M. Farkas, grandchildren, Kelli A. Stark-Adams, Caitlin M. Farkas, sister, Anni Burlingafinger, brother, Pepe Werner, great-grandchild, Aubrey L. Adams.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Stephen R. Farkas, parents, Ernst and Agnes Werner, sister, Elsie and brothers, Rudy and Erwin.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00pm, Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, July 29, 2013 at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH.
The family would like to thank Lee Hall and the staff of the Sterling Place and Heartland Hospice for the exceptional care they provided in her final years.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be directed to the Sterling Place or Heartland Hospice.
