Elizabeth "Betty" Jean McCoy, 71 of Columbus went home to be with the Lord on May 16, 2006 at the Lanfair Care Center. She was born on September 23, 1934 to the late Eugene and Irene (Davis) Morris. Betty graduated from Central High School in 1952, and retired from Huntington Clothiers in 1996. She is preceded in death by her Parents; Granddaughter, Regina Marie Orsbon. Betty is survived by her Children, Judy Lynn Billingsley, Donna (Victor) Orsbon, Marvin (Theresa) McCoy, and Robin Orsbon; Sisters, Yvonne Surber, Patty (Dick) Spybey, and Carol (Ben) Pritchard; Brothers, Norman (Beverley) Morris, and Denny (Sara) Morris; 10 Grandchildren; 14 Great-Grandchildren; along with several Nieces and Nephews. Special Thanks to Drs. Troy Edwards, Paul Schorr, and Erin Ribo; "Guardian Angel" Sara Milatovich and the entire staff at Lanfair Center for all their love and care. Family will receive friends on Friday, May 19, 2006 from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May, 20, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home with Pastor Gilbert R. Jarrell officiating. Interment will follow in Blendon Central Cemetery.
