Elizabeth Dawson

Elizabeth Dawson, 92, currently of Columbus and formerly of Flint, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Friday May 24, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on May 23, 1921 to the late George and Susan Tomko in Cairnbrook, PA.
She was a member of Member of Grand Blanc Church in Michigan and was a General Motors UAW Retiree.
Elizabeth loved to travel and enjoyed making jewelry, was an excellent seamstress, upholsterer and was an avid flower gardener.
She will be missed by her loving, Sister, Dorothy (Norman) Nethers; Brothers, Rev. George Tomko, Rev. Leo (Naomi) Tomko and numerous nieces and nephews .
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, David Tomko; sister, Ruth Chase.
Visitation will be held from 2 – 3 PM Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd, Columbus, Ohio 43231, where funeral services will being at 3 PM Tuesday.
Graveside Services will take place 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 29, 2013 in the Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, 2020 E. Hill Road, Flint, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the Mt. Carmel Hospice, 6150 E. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43213.
