Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Wood (nee Thomas), passed away on January 8, 2023.
She was born on November 24, 1947 in Columbus, OH. Betty was a graduate of Bishop Hartley High School in 1965 and then attended The Ohio State University. She retired from AT&T and worked at the Tuttle Mall. Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She cherished going to the beach and spending time with family.
She was preceded in death by parents, George and Gabby Thomas, brother, Michael Thomas. Surviving family includes husband of 43 years, Bill Wood, children, Allison (Chris) Stacy, Mandy Wood, Jason (Kelly) Wood, grandchildren, Colt and Jack Stacy, Emily and Cameron Wood, brothers, Robert (Kathy) Thomas, William (Nita) Thomas, George (Bernie) Thomas, Richard Thomas, Charles (Mary) Thomas, Colette Thomas, Joseph Thomas, Michele Thomas.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, NW Chapel, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, OH from 6-8pm, Thursday, January 12, 2023.
