Ella "Jean" Hobbs, 77, of Columbus, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. Born to George A. and Bertha Marie (Cooley) Robinette in Raul, WV on January 9, 1932, Jean is preceded in death by her father; husband, Carter B. Hobbs; daughter, Peggy Sue Gallagher; son, Daniel B. Smith; brothers, George Taylor Robinette and James Robinette. Survivors include her mother, Marie (Cooley) Robinette; daughters, Dianna Noel, Denise (Doug) Taylor, Donna (Adam) Taylor, Dena (Mihai) Feraru; sons, David W. (Rose) Smith and Donald Smith; sister, Patty Wilson; brother, Bill Robinette; grandchildren, Jason (Mandi) Smith, Amber Taylor, Stefanee Wolford; great-grandchild, Elijah David Smith; many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her most precious canine, "Tye". Jean accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior and has now gone home to be with him. Jean's family will receive friends on Monday, February 9, 2009, 1-2 PM at Vineyard of Columbus, 6000 Cooper Road, Westerville, OH 43081 with the Service at 2:15PM.
