It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mrs. Ella (Payne) Kemp.
She is preceded in death by parents Minor & Dorthy Payne, Sister Clara (Payne) Brown and Brothers Richard Payne, Warren Payne. Ella will be lovingly remembered by her husband Richard Kemp and children: Robert Kemp, Rachelle (Kemp) Roper, Mark Kemp and Debbie Diggs. Grandchildren Daiquiri Gilbert, Della Gilbert, and Serenity Kemp. Great Grandchildren Xavier Vinson, Maleigha Suel and Scarlet Vinson. Her Brothers and Sisters; Charles Payne, Marjorie (Payne) Jackson, David Payne, and Janet (Payne) Jackson and many more nieces and nephews.
Ella started her career as a beautician. She then enjoyed working retail at Lazarus and spent the last years of her career as a Peak teacher for the Columbus Public Schools. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend to many. She will be missed from all who knew her and loved her.
Visitation will be held from 10am-12pm, Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, where a funeral service will begin at 12pm. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
