Ella F. Meeks, 76, passed away peacefully at home on March 27, 2009. Member of Order of the Eastern Star. Past member of Minerva Park Methodist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Ed and Leva Freeman; sons, Mark and Kevin Meeks; brothers, Ed and Leonard Freeman; grandchildren, Abbi and Jimmy Meeks. Ella is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Edward; son, Mike (Linda) Meeks; sister, Opal Allen; grandchildren, Jason, Christopher, Heidi, and Corey Meeks; 2 great grandchildren; niece and nephew. Friends may call from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Friday, April 3, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3047 E. Dublin -Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43231. Funeral Service will be 10am, Saturday, April 4, 2009 at Grace Brethern Church, 8225 Worthington-Galena Rd., Westerville, OH 43081. Pastor Tim Wagner officiating. Interment Blendon Central Cemetery.
