Ellen C. Houpe, age 83 of Columbus, passed away on January 4, 2021. She was born on April 2, 1937, to the late Clifton and Addie (Smith) Houpe in Columbus, OH. Ellen graduated from The Ohio State University Nursing Program and taught nursing in Burbank, CA. Along with her parents, Ellen is preceded in death by brothers, Clifton (Bobbie), Robert (Vera), Raymond (Jean), and Roy Houpe. Ellen is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at 1 pm at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, 8029 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg, OH 43068.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
