Ellie Pukay, 90, of Friendship Village of Columbus, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2007. Born December 3, 1916, to the late Thomas and Ella (Karn) Barone in Buffalo, NY., Ellie is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Pukay; son, Paul Pukay; and 3 brothers. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Susanna and Harry Pukay-Martin; grandchildren, Nicole and Robert Pukay-Martin. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 1, 2007, at Friendship Village of Columbus, 5800 Forest Hill Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 100 East Schrock Road, Westerville, OH 43081 or "Employee Gift Fund" c/o Friendship Village of Columbus, 5800 Forest Hills Blvd., Columbus, OH 43231. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, OH. Messages of condolence may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com.
