She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Gennett; daughter, Anita Gennett; parents, Benoni and Bernice (Harter) Allen; brothers, Robert and James Allen. Elma is survived by her son, Robert (Danail) Gennett; 2 grandchildren, Ashley and Gabrielle; sister, Thelma Nelisher and brother, William (Shirley) Allen.
