Eloise Theone Barnette

Eloise Theone Barnette, age 81, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior, on Saturday, June 10, 2023. She was born on Monday, September 15, 1941 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Walter and Mamie (Lewis) Dodson. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Rosalie and Beverly; and her parents, Walter and Mamie Dodson. She is survived by her loving husband, Dale Barnette; daughter, Beverly; son, Rodney; brother, Walter (Betty Jo); grandchildren, Travis (Jess) Bell and Ebony Bell; great grandchildren, Cameron Bell, Aidan Bell, and Keira Bell; many nieces, nephews, and other good friends. Eloise was a member of the Antioch Free Will Baptist Church in Mt. Sterling, where she attended with her church family that she loved so much. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and will be deeply missed. Friends may call at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 on Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023 at 11:00am at Antioch Free Will Baptist Church 12285 Kiousville Palestine Road, Mt. Sterling, Ohio 43143, with Pastor Jim Blankenship officiating. Interment to follow at Pleasant Cemetery.
