Elsie Marie Peterman, 86, of Johnstown, OH passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. She graduated from Johnstown Monroe and worked at Lucent Technologies for 36 years.
Elsie enjoyed bowling, watching The Ohio State Buckeyes, watching golf and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her; children Debbie (Scott) Swick, Randy (Lisa) Peterman; grandchildren Sharon (Bryan) Hollis, Justin Swick, Phillip Swick, Cody Peterman, Austin Peterman; great-grandchildren Whitney, Clayton, Nick, Jason, Katelyn, Kaylan; siblings Gary (Helen) Miller, Joe (Lola) Miller, Eileen (John) Boggess, Viola (Bill) Brown, Linda (Ed) Chandler, and Betty Clayton.
Elsie is preceded in death by her ex-husband Francis Preston Peterman, parents Laffayette and Ethel Miller, siblings Mack, Mary, Floyd, Junior, Gilbert, and Carolyn.
Burial and celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
To our mother and grandma Elsie: God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put His arms around you and whispered "Come to Me". With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away and although we love you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best!
