Elster Hunt, age 72 0f Columbus passed away Thursday, November 6, 2003 at his residence. Elster was a devoted member of Maize Road Baptist Church SBC, Neoacacia Lodge # 595 F & M, Scottish Rite Valley of Columbus, Aladdin Shriners Temple and the FOPA all of Columbus. He loved and enjoyed his family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Perry Hunt & Janie (OverBee) Hackney. Survived by his loving wife of fifty-three years Norma, daughters Melissa (Steve) Smith of Westerville, Rhonda (Garry) Tucker of Reynoldsburg; son Tim (Cindy) Hunt of Centerburg, seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; brother Hansel (Myrtle) Hunt. Visitation is Sunday 2-5 PM at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME 3047 East Dublin Granville Road. Columbus. Masonic service will be at 4:30 PM. Funeral service Monday, 10 AM at the funeral home. Pastor John Kirby officiating. Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Columbus. Memorials may be given to Maize Road Baptist Church SBC, 4251 Maize Road. Columbus, Ohio 43224
