Emily M. Kemp, 93, of Reynoldsburg, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. Born to the late Percy Goff and Sara Jane (Hart) Marling in Cameron, WV on January 19, 1916, Emily was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Kemp; a sister, Virginia McCracken; brothers, Glenn H., Donald E. and Ralph S. Marling. Survivors include her son, Harold William "Bill" Whorton; 2 nephews and 4 nieces. Emily graduated from Cameron High School in 1933, Elliott Business School in Wheeling, WV and was retired from the State of Ohio Department of Health Division of Vital Statistics in 1982. She was also baptized on the July 9, 1995, at the Eastbrook Baptist Church, Reynoldsburg. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2009, 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service to follow at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at 2:30 PM at the Highland Cemetery, Cameron, WV.
