Emma L. (McGarvey) Bennett, 78, of Obetz, passed away December 23, 2005 at her home with her daughter by her side. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Carlton R. (Chick); sons Carl Raymond and Paul Daryl; parents Thomas and Edna McGarvey; sisters Grace Hensley, Mary Beattie, Susanne Davis, Annette Drake; brothers Thomas and Robert. Emma is survived by her brother Richard McGarvey; daughter Brenda Rose; grandchildren Robert David Rose III, Carly Raye Rose, Christine Lynn Smith, Elizabeth Smith; brothers-in-law; granddaughter Kaylee Emma Rose; many nieces, nephews, friends and all the children whose life was touched by her. Visitation will be held 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00PM Monday, December 26, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at the funeral home. Rev. Douglas Nault will be officiating with interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
