Emma "Jean" Chaffin French, 78 of Obetz, OH passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Riverside Hospital. She was born on May 27, 1942 at Tripp, WV to the late Ulysses and Hessie Fluty Chaffin.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Roy H. French, son, Roy H. French II, and a brother, McKinley "Joe" Chaffin.
Surviving family includes, one daughter, Teresa (David) Burgess, and two sons, Steve French and Wade French all of Obetz, OH in addition to seven grandchildren; Jonathan French, Blake French, Colton French, Shawna Burgess, Derrick Burgess, Jerica French, and Matti French, along with three great-grandchildren, Jose Flores, Antonio Flores, Brynlee Miller, four sisters, Betty Marcum of Crum, WV, Doris Borders of Columbus, OH, Judy Rosquist of Georgetown, KY and Melissa Maynard of Marysville, OH, two brothers, James Chaffin of Genoa, WV and Jeffrey Chaffin of New Metamoris, OH, three friends, Mike, Uncle Dave and Aunt Beck.
A graveside service will be held at 1pm, Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Fernwood Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH.
