Emmett Clay Butcher, 62, of Westerville, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2012 at St. Ann's Hospital.
Emmett served in the Navy during Vietnam from 1968 to 1975.
He worked as a technical instructor for A.B.B. until 2009.
Emmett is survived by his wife, May; daughter, Heather (John) Beahan; siblings, Charlie, Fred, Eugene, Jovette, Jeff and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Faith Mission, Dept L-1313 P.O. Box 18045 Columbus, OH 43218 or the Humane Society, 3015 Scioto-Darby Executive Ct. Hilliard, OH 43026.
Emmett's kindness, generosity and witty sense of humor will be remembered. He will be missed forever by the people who loved him, including his two dogs, Suzy and Rory.
