In Loving Memory of
Emmett A. Johnson
1957-2023
Emmett "Bo" Johnson., age 65 of Galloway passed away, unexpectedly on Wednesday March 22, 2023 at his home. Emmett was a loving, generous and kind Husband, Father and Grandpa. He graduated from Dublin Coffman High School and worked many years as an Inspector for The City of Columbus, most recently as a semi truck driver for XPO Logistics, until he retired. He always took pride in carrying a very strong work ethic. He loved spending time with his large growing family, so many good times. In his free time he enjoyed gambling at the casino and playing the Ohio lottery. "He sure knew how to win!" He spent most evenings after work watching his favorite sitcoms with his beloved wife or doing yard work; he always kept a beautiful lawn and they enjoyed gardening together. At Christmas time Grandpa was known for his attentiveness to wrapping gifts for all of his children, grandchildren & great grandchildren. The gifts were always so perfectly and meticulously wrapped, I'm talking hundreds of them! You didn't want to open them because they were so beautiful. He was a blessing to us and will truly be missed by so many, especially his family. We will love you always and forever, until we meet again.
He was preceded in death by; "The love of his life", Kathy "Margaret" Johnson, they were married over 25 years and their wedding song was "Keeper of the Stars", seems like yesterday. Also, by their beloved lapdog; Bieber Johnson. His parents Carl and Edna Johnson, sister Rosalie, brother Carl Jr and daughter Tammy Hatifield, his little girl.
