Enrico Caruso Sr., 86, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2006 at St. Ann's Hospital. He was born December 21, 1920, in Youngstown, son of the late Sebastian and Rose Piccione Caruso. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Fern McCall; son, Thomas Caruso; five brothers and two sisters. Enrico served in the Army as a Sergeant during WWII touring in Africa and Italy. He was also a retired butcher from Colonial Stores. Enrico is survived by two sons, Robert Don (Vera) Caruso and Enrico (Janie) Caruso Jr.; stepsons, Dick and Bob McCall; stepdaughter, Ann Long; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and his 1st wife Ruth E. Cochran mother of his sons. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 26, 2006 from 12:30-2:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus with the funeral service following. Interment will be in Union Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be left at www. newcomerfamily.com
