Eric Douglas Starkey

Eric Douglas Starkey, 68, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023 in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born on November 5, 1954 in Milton, WV to the late Franklin and Colleen Starkey.
Doug is survived by daughter, Erica Starkey, son, Michael Starkey; grandchildren, Gauge Starkey, Eriana Hernandez; brother, Rodney (Annette) Starkey and sister, Valerie (Dean Nader) Starkey.
Doug worked at Anheuser-Busch, where he retired after 20 years. He was a skilled automotive machinist prior to working at the brewery.
Doug enjoyed spending time with family and riding horses at the family farm. He loved fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycle and driving his Dodge Challenger. Doug will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231 with a funeral service immediately following at 4:00 pm also at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel.
