Erlene Mildred Russell-Eskridge

Erlene M. Russell Eskridge was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 3, 1931. She was the daughter of John Thomas Wyche and Carrie Howard.

Erlene was a graduate of East High School and also attended Columbus State Community College. Erlene was employed at Columbus Distributors well over 20 years and also a caretaker. Erlene was a kind, gentle, loving, resourceful, dependable, hardworking wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Her family was her life.

On Wednesday, June 5, 2024 , at the age of 92 she departed this life and was preceded in death by siblings Curtis Wyche, Leon Wyche, Ernest Wyche, Geraldine Johnson, Frank Wyche, John Wyche and Lucille Hill; step children Deloris Russell, Donald Russell and William Russell.

Loving memories are cherished by her siblings Helen Wyche and Mary Ann McGhee, eight kids Larry (Jeannie) Russell, Gayle Sullivan, Wilena (Dwight) Garrett , Tyrone (Sharon) Russell, Pamela Mallory, Gene Russell, Wayne (Marsha) Russell, Kenny (Darla) Russell; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 14, 2024 from 10am to 12pm at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd Columbus, Ohio services 12pm
