Ernamay C. Haugse

Beloved wife, mother and grandmother Erna Haugse, passed peacefully at 83 years old on November 9, 2022. Erna was born on December 12, 1938 in Sioux Falls, SD. She had a kind, loving and generous soul that was willing to help anyone in need with a gentle spirit. Her family always came first, and she raised a family filled with love for her and for each other. Her faith in God was strong and gave her a kindness that reached beyond her family, and as a result she had many close friends and was loved by all who met her. Erna had a zest for life, and loved traveling with the love of her life, her husband Len and spending time with family and friends. She made the best of every situation, and was always strong and positive. She will be deeply missed, but the family takes comfort in knowing that she departed peacefully and had a strong faith and a loving spirit.

Erna is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Len Haugse, children Rhonda (Jeff) Boley, Cindy (John) Bogdue, Laura (Chris) Harden, grandchildren Leah (Shane) Morais, Nick Bogdue, Anna Harden, Adam Harden, Abby Harden; brother, Dennis (Cheryl) Sutter; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by father Ernie Sutter, mother May Sutter, and grandson Josh Boley.
