Ernest Stevens

STEVENS Ernest "Paul" Stevens, 80, of Cumming, GA (and long time resident of Columbus, OH), went to be with the Lord on September 19, 2011. Born in Rushville, IN he was the son of the late George and Elizabeth Stevens. He was also predeceased by his son Bret Allen Stevens. Paul, a blessed child of God, attended Coal Mountain Baptist Church in Cumming. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and father-in-law. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Marilyn Stevens of Cumming, GA; children, Diana (Chris) Johnston of Columbus, OH, Paula (Jim) Kimberlin of Cumming, GA and Sandra (Larry) Walker of Cumming, GA; sisters, Mary Wright of Columbus, OH and Pauline (Dave) Lambert of Columbus, OH; brothers, George (Bobby) Stevens of Spokane, WA and Elmer Stevens of Lakewood, CA; sister in law, Roberta Miller of Port St. Lucie, FL; grandchildren, Heather Gray, Tara (Danny) Conrad, Bryan (Alison) Keck, Scott Keck, Jennifer Marzen and Jeffrey Marzen; great-grandchildren, Renee and Dylan Conrad; and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 23, 2011 at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 22, from 4-8 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Building Fund at Coal Mountain Baptist Church, 3220 Dahlonega Highway, Cumming, GA 30028.
