Ernestine Mcilroy

Ernestine McIlroy was born in 1919 in New Germantown, PA. She was a licensed cosmetologist for 50 years, and the owner of Ernie's Salon in Whitehall for 20 years. She attended Village Baptist Church. Ernestine passed away on December 26, 2003 at The Manor of Whitehall. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert McIlroy, and an infant son in 1939. She is survived and loved by two daughters, Sue (Roy) Clark, and Cindy Snyder; her daughter's father, Chester Snyder; grandchildren, Tim (Lisa) Clark, Todd (Tracy) Clark, Michael Clark, Greg Lindsey, Dawn Benson, Rob Lindsey, Theresa Speakman; loved companion, Donald Sprague; dear friend, Roye Wise of FL; great-grandchildren, many friends, and relatives. A celebration of her life will be held Friday, January 9, 2004 from 5-7 at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus. Contributions may be made to Pilot Dogs, 625 W. Town St., Columbus, OH 43215 of flowers to her life's celebration.
