Ervin Harold Cline, "Uncle Harold" 57, of Columbus, passed away June 23, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Nora (Addair) Cline; infant sister Linda; mother of his children, Beth Cline and nephews, Patrick and Tony. Harold is survived by his son, Harold (Angela Haley) Cline; daughters, Angela (Brett Will) Cline, Jennifer (Robin) Eyer; grandchildren, Alisha, Matthew, Justin, James, Sydney, Tre, Sierra, Jordyn, Alex; great-grandchild, Alayna; sister, Carrie Cline; niece, Tory Cline; great nephews, Colt, Mitch, Ty; great niece, Tiffani; 1 great, great niece and a host of other relatives and friends. Harold was a veteran of the US Army serving during Vietnam where he received a Vietnam Service Medal, Republic Vietnam Campaign Medal with device 1960, Purple Heart, National Defense Medal, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry Unit Citation with Palm and the 299th Engineer Battalion Valorous Unit Award. He was a sharp shooter with a M14 rifle and an Expert with the M16 rifle.. Harold was a lifetime member of VFW Post 3441, a lifetime member of AMVETS Post 2352 and a member of the Brotherhood of DAK TO Defenders. Visitation will be held 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00PM Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at the funeral home. Interment will be at Sunset Cemetery.
