Esther L. Anthony, 84, Columbus, passed away Friday, December 17, 2010. Esther was born in Columbus, OH on June 23, 1926, to Carl and Hazel (Winland) Burns and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Anthony; sister, Doris Osborne; brother, Carl Burns. Survivors include her daughter, Christine (Rich) Clark; son, Wayne (Kaye) Anthony; grandchildren, Robert (Lynda) Shadwick; Christopher (Kim) Anthony; Joe (Damika) Shadwick; Lori (Zubair) Bujazia; six great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many friends. Esther was a member of AmVets Post 89 Auxiliary and Linden Eagles #2252. Esther's family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Broadview Health Center. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2010, 4-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service on Wednesday, December 22, 2010, 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
