Esther Marie Ward, 92, passed away Friday, October 16, 2009. Esther was born to Thomas and Nora Stephenson on June 17, 1917 in Hamden, OH. She is survived by her son, Robert (Katie) L. Ward of Grove City, OH; grandchildren, Shawn L. Ward who is stationed at Fort Campbell, KY, Nicholas R. Ward who is stationed in Italy and Michaela Ward of Columbus, OH; as well as niece, Phyllis (Bobby) Steele of Ticonderoga, NY. Services are being held privately. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Memorial Donations in Esther's name may be made to the Holy Family Church, 584 W. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43215.
