Ethel Marie Baas

Ethel Marie (Linderman) Baas, 79, born November 9, 1943 and passed away September 8, 2023 after being on Hospice for a few months.

She was a graduate of Franklin Heights High School. She loved her church. Ethel was a member of Grace Brethren of Polaris, Senior member of Southwest Grace Brethren, and most recently a proud member of Central Baptist Church of Columbus. She loved her family and her animals - especially her 2 horses.

She was preceded in death by husband, Arthur C. Baas, Jr; son, Chris (Roberta) Baas; parents, George and Lula Linderman; sisters, Geraldine Linderman, Alberta Price, and Ruth O'Neal; brothers, George Owen, Ray, Charles, John, and James; brothers-in-law, John and Darryl Baas and Jeff Denty; as well as her close friend, Vicki LeDiard.

Ethel is survived by daughter, Lisa (Stanley) Vivens,; grandchildren, Rose Scott, Freida (Steven) Bell, Christina and Joshua Baas and Stan (Tiffany) Vivens.; sister, Dorothy Hannan; brothers-in-law, Larry, Fred, James, and Charles II Baas; sisters-in-law, Vera Dike, Karen (Jack) Worline, Norma Denty, Debra (Walter) Wilhelm, and Joan (Richard) McQuirt; as well as 16 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandsons, a host of nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Visitation Sunday, Sept. 17, 2023 from 5-8pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Monday, Sept. 18, 2023 at 10am at the Funeral Home with additional visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
