Ethel P. Simmons, 89, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018 in Westerville, OH. Ethel was born on May 30, 1929 in Elkgarden, WV to the late Hayman and Hazel ( nee Harvey) Coffman.
In addition to her parents, Ethel is preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Simmons and her brothers, Robert, Frank and Richard Coffman.
She is survived by her daughters, Pam Newland, Donna (Richard) Maier and Rhonda (Richard) Gillingwater; grandchildren, Matt and Josh Newland, Sam Maier, Leila and Ailia Gillingwater and numerous nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters.
Ethel loved cooking, gardening, animals and traveling.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 1:30 pm at Northlawn Memory Gardens, 7060 S.R. 3, Westerville, OH 43082.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ethel's honor to the Cat Welfare Assoc., 741 Wetmore Rd, Columbus, OH 43214.
