Eugene C. Hughes age 61, of Columbus passed away Friday, August 22, 2003 at his residence. Preceded in death by his parents Clinton & Anna (Schultz) Hughes. Survived by his wife Lillian, 4 children from a prior marriage and stepchildren James (Dorothy) Ashcraft, Jennifer Sanford and Andrew (Carol) Ashcraft; 18 grandchildren; brother Sonny (Darlene) Hughes and brother in- law Ron Allen.
