September 18, 1939 — February 27, 2024
Eugene King Jr., Child of God and former Pastor of Rainbow Missionary Baptist Church, took the Master's hand on February 27, 2024, surrounded by family. He loved deeply and was loved.
Predeceased by parents Ruth Arnold King and Eugene King Sr, Sister Thelma and Brother Aubrey King, beloved wife of 62 years Audrey Schneider King, and 2 grandchildren.
Survived by daughters Teresa Elliott, Ruth Iacobucci (David), Connie King, Carla King Bridges, Hope King-Mitchell (Terry), and son Eugene King III (Jeanna), and 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many special friends and family.
He retired from the Central Ohio Transit Authority after many years of service.
Visitation will be Monday, March 4, 2024 from 9:30am until the time of service at 10:30am with Carla King-Bridges officiate at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus, OH 43231.
Procession and internment prayer will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
