Eugene Minix

Eugene Minix, 86, passed away August 9, 2023. He was preceded in death by parents, Henry Lee and Clara Minix; wife, Zorina; sister, Helen Easterling; brother, James Lloyd Minix. Gene is survived by son, Randy Minix, daughter-in-law, Kimberly Minix, grandchildren, Holly Minix, Sierra (Jordan) McKenzie, Trey Minix, and Logan Minix; numerous nieces and nephews.

Gene was a lifelong member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union #189 of Columbus, Ohio for 63 years. He was a business manager of the local union for 18 years. Gene was an avid golfer. He was a beloved grandfather, great friend, and loved by many. He will be dearly missed.

Visitation Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 10:30am until the time of Funeral Service at 12:30pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gene's name to your local humane society.
