Eugene W. Shipp, Jr., "Geneo" 55, of Columbus, passed away July 31, 2007. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene W. Shipp, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Jean Phillips; daughter, Tonya Phillips (Dan); mother, Della Shipp; sisters, Wanda (Joe) Karaffa, Beverly Shaw, Debra Watkins (Eric); numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws. Geneo was a member of the Moose Lodge #11 and was a mechanic at Hillcrest Bowling Lanes for many years. He was a graduate of Dublin High School and also an avid bowler and golfer. He was currently employed by Prestige Delivery. Visitation will be held 4:00-8:00PM Thursday, August 2, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in care of the funeral home. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerFamily.com
