Eulice "Herb" Garner, 83, passed away September 22, 2012 surrounded by his family. He was born on October 2, 1928.
He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Prudential Insurance after 32 years in 1993.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Dovie (Chavies) Garner of Gadsden, AL, grandson, Joey Garner.
Survived by, wife, Becky Garner, son, David Garner, sisters, Virginia Martin and Patricia Patterson, brothers, Winfred and Dale Garner, daughters, Robin (Craig) Snyder, Melody (Jim) Brown, Sherri (Tracy) Doss, Angie Hoodlet, Sam Wegman, grandchildren, Amanda, Madelyn, Brooke, Cameron, Jordan, Megan, Eric, Cecilia, Addison Riley, James, Timothy Michael, mother in law, Marguerite Tetlow, and several nieces, nephews, and his beloved dogs and many friends. The family will receive visitors from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm, Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Alton Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
