Eva K. Havens

Eva K. Havens, 89 of Minerva Park, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Johnstown Pointe Nursing Home. born to the late Edmund A. Kegley and Mattie C. (Umberger) Wohlford.
Eva is preceded in death by her husband Luther S. Havens and son Bryan Havens. Survivors include daughter, Kathy (Ed) Norris; son, Pete (Cathi) Havens; sister, Jodie Andre; grandchild Breanne Braskett, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Eva was formerly employed by Flying Eagle Furniture. In her spare time, Eva enjoyed gardening, painting, stained art glass, and antiquing.
Eva will be missed by her family and many friends.
On behalf of the Havens family, a special thank you to all of the nursing home staff and residents at Johnstown Pointe and Country View of Sunbury for their kindness, loving care and friendship so freely given to Mom.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 18, 4-6p.m., and on Friday, January 19 at 10a.m at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43231. Graveside service will be conducted on Friday, January 19, at 11a.m. at Blendon Central Cemetery, 8340 Hempstead Rd. Westerville, OH
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the American Heart Association, 1650 Lake Shore Drive Suite 350 Columbus. OH 43204.
