Evan Zane Strayer, 76, of Columbus, passed away December 4, 2006. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lola (Coleman) Strayer; sister, Rhoda and brothers, Ardel, Charles, Robert, Duard, Edwin, Wayne and Gale. Evan is survived by his daughters, Debra Ann Strayer, Leah Marie (Bryan) Gray, Melynda Rae Strayer; sons, Derk Evan Strayer, Eric Zane Strayer; grandchildren, Amy Branson, Melynda Harrington, Megan Gray, Chad Strayer, Matthew Wallace, Benjamin Wallace; sisters, Florence Reighard, Betty Kubera and Eva Eschrich. Evan was a veteran of the US Air Force serving during the Korean War. Graveside inurnment will be held 2:00PM Friday, December 8, 2006 at Grove City Cemetery.
