Evelyn Ruth Homer, 84, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2007 at Summerville Outlook Manor. She was born June 10, 1923, in Delaware, daughter of the late Joseph and Della Tribett Cubbison. In addition to her parents, Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband, James Homer; brothers, Howard, Kenneth and John Cubbison; sisters, Hazel Bailey, Margaret Cubbison, Wilma Stage and Ada Cubbison. She is survived by her sons, James (Pamela) Homer and Greg (Connie) Homer; daughter, Debbie Homer; grandchildren, Stephen James, James Arthur (Trupti), Carolyn Michelle, David Evan and Elizabeth Nicole Homer. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 19, 2007 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus. Funeral service will be Thursday, September 20, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mifflin Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mount Carmel Hospice, 1144 Dublin Road Columbus, Ohio 43215. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerFamily.com
