March 14, 1944 — July 7, 2013
Evelyn L. Smith, 69, Grandview, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013. Evelyn was born in Akron, OH to the late Silas and Anna (Fanning) Hall.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherry (Allen) Smith-Miller; sisters, Patricia (John) Edwards, Betty Johnson, Barbara Jean Hightower, Charlotte (David) Blair, Kathy (Bruce) Rarick; brothers, Silas "Bud" Hall, Keith Hall, Rick Hall, Gary (Teri) Hall; grandchildren, Mason and Makayla Miller and Zachery and Ashton Smith; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Evelyn earned a Master's Degree from Central Michigan University and was retired from Chemical Abstracts. Evelyn was a member of the Central Ohio JAG Club and spent countless hours being a loving mother and grandmother.
Evelyn's family will receive friends Tuesday, July 9, 2013, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2013, 11:00 AM at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, 351 Coonpath Road NE, Lancaster, OH 43130.
