F. Sue Prose

Flora Sue Prose, 90, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. Flora was born on March 29, 1934 to Walter and Anne (Sowkulech) Hoover. She was married to Edward Prose for 62 years. She was a Head Cake Decorator for 18 years at Kroger.

Sue is survived by her sons, David (Sharon) Prose and Jeff (Joanne) Prose, daughters, Debbie (Rick) Starbuck, Julie (Jerry) Geiger, Karen (Gene) Hughes, and Kathy (Jr.) Schirtzinger, sisters, Retha (George) Piette, and Dorothy Price, sister-In-Law, Helen Hoover, 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Daniel Prose, father, Walter E. Hoover, mother, Anne Hoover, sister, Edith McKesson, brothers, Robert, Hubert, Billy, Walter Jr., and John Hoover.

Visitation will be on Monday, September 23, from 4pm to 7pm with the praying of the rosary from 7pm to 8pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus. A service will be on Tuesday, September 24 at 10am, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel. 

Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Labre Indian School in her honor.
