Farwell Bamba Mansaray of Columbus, Ohio was sadly granted his angel wings on Monday, August 8th, 2022, after a long hard battle with cancer he was diagnosed with in 2019. Farwell was born on March 29, 2001 in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
He was 21 years old. His final days were spent at home surround by relatives, friends, and family that Farwell had touched in some small way throughout his short, yet very memorable life on earth.
Farwell's meaningful life would seem short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Had had a heart of gold and gave us all such courage and hope and reminded us of the preciousness of life. He enjoyed playing and listening to music. He attended school here in America and graduated in 2019. He was very good at playing American football for which he was awarded a scholarship for college. Farwell could accomplish anything he set his mind to. He was very social and well loved by his friends and many.
Farwell is survived by his loving parents Goodwin and Mattu; sisters Mary Kanneh, Veronica Thathamana Mansaray; brothers Mohamed Augustus Mansaray, Lawrence Kanneh, Emmanuel Tony Ileghameh, and there are several cousins and extended family members that will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 8:30am until the time of service at 10am at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus.
