Flora Wuerfel, 94, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021 in Worthington, Ohio.
Flora was born on April 21, 1927 in Werbass, Yugoslavia to Jakob and Maria Katharine Urban.
Flora is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Elizabeth, Helene, Frederick, and Katarina.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Karl; daughters, Gabriele (Jimmy) Roberts, Heidi (Stephen) Gladysz; grandchildren, Amy Ruble, Christina (David) Kirker, Jacob (Faye) Gladysz, and David (Brittni) Gladysz; great-grandchildren, Jade (John), Caina (Taylor), Noah, Isabella, Logan, Colette, Beau, Arianna, Thomas, Griffin and Aurora; great-great grandchildren, Aliveea, Adam, and Autumn; and brother Jakob (Maria) Urban.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 3pm to 6pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northwest Chapel, 10051 Brewster Ln, Powell, Ohio 43065. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 10:00am also at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northwest Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Gethsemane Cemetery in Detroit, Michigan.
