Florence Margaret Frank

Florence Margaret Frank, 95, of Columbus, OH passed away October 19, 2011. She was born in Urbana, IL on June 7, 1916 to Benjamin Franklin and Grace Margaret (Martens) Webber. She was an avid reader and was a graduate of the University of Illinois, working her way through college. Florence was a sweet and compassionate soul with an independent spirit. She raised three sons after the untimely and relatively young death of her one and only husband, Gerald William, and maintained her household alone until the age of 91. She was preceded in death by her son, Frederick Gerald Frank and sisters, Isabelle, Mary and Blanche. She is survived by sons, John (Phyllis) Frank, Roger (Terri) Frank, daughter-in-law, Laurel Frank, grandchildren, Angie Stanton, Amy (Mark) Burks, Monica (Keithel) Dingus, John Benjamin (Shawna) Frank, Molly (Tom) Niday, Andy (Stefanie) Frank, Kevin (Erin) Stockdale, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 12:00pm, Friday, October 21, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, where funeral services will be held at 12:00pm following the visitation.
