Floyd Beacher Skaggs, 70, born in Lomansville, KY., August 4, 1935, of Grove City, formerly of Hilliard, went home to be with the Lord July 20, 2006. He was preceded in death by his parents, Brack and Maggie Skaggs; daughter, Rita and brothers, Edwin and Herman. Floyd is survived by his wife, Mary (Love) Skaggs; daughters, Teresa (Carl) Harrington, Tina Glass; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Annalee Knotts, Rosetta Bales, Eunice Lamb; brothers, Gene, Arnold and Marvin Skaggs; former spouse, Mae Daniels and numerous nieces and nephews. Floyd was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and enjoyed camping. Visitation will be held 2:00-6:00PM Sunday, July 23, 2006 at Pleasant View Baptist Church, 2485 Gantz Rd., Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Monday, July 24, 2006 at the church. Pastor Curtis Sheets will be officiating with interment at Forest Grove Cemetery, Plain City, Ohio.
