Forest Blanton

Forest Blanton, 81 of Gahanna, won the victory and went Home to be with the Lord on July 29, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born on February 3, 1934 to the late Edgar and Lucinda (Tackett) Blanton in Idaho, OH. Forest was the proud owner of the Blanton Fence Company, member of the Gahanna Free Will Baptist Church and member of the Gahanna Senior Center. Survived by children Marilyn (Tony) Featherston, Randolph (Patty) Blanton, Cheryl (Dan) Cook, Thomas (Pamela) Blanton, Michael Blanton and Kathy Whitaker, siblings Gertrude Blair and Faye Gibson, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by wife Dorothy Blanton of 56 years, son Douglas Asprey and daughter Vicki Moore, 4 sisters and 2 brothers.

Friends may call at Gahanna Free Will Baptist Church, 3868 N. Stygler Rd., Gahanna, OH on Friday, July 31, 2015 from 5 to 8pm and on Saturday from 9am until time of service at 10am with Pastor Curtis Booth officiating.

Burial to follow at Blendon Central Cemetery, Westerville, OH.
