Forest Osborne, 92, of Grove City, OH, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2011. Forest was born in Pike County, KY to Grover C. and Rebecca (Tackett) Osborne and is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 62 years, Ethel (Oliver) Osborne; 12 brothers and sisters; grandson, Ronald S. Van Horn. Survivors include his daughter, Sandra K (Birtchel) Mosley; sons, Roger L. (Debbie) Osborne and F. "Ozzie" (Jane) Osborne; brothers, David (Virginia), Robert (Carolyn) and Hiram (Faith) Osborne; grandchildren, Christine Hurdley, Rodger Osborne, Donald Van Horn III, Sherry Cales, Dena Gray, Danelle McGraw, Darla Nutt; 14 great-grandchildren and many friends. Forest retired from General Motors where he was a member of the Local UAW 969 and was an Ordained Minister. The family will receive friends from 2-6 PM on Sunday, July 24, 2011, at Little Angel Church of Old Regular Baptist; 5733 Saltzgaber Road, Groveport, OH 43125. The funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 25, 2011, 11:00 AM at the Church. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Columbus, OH. Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH is honored to serve the Osborne Family.
