Forrest R. Gill, 91, of Columbus, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2008. Born to the late William and Rose (Henniman) Gill on April 19, 1917, in Wellston, OH, "Gill" was also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothea (Young) Gill; son, Douglas Gill; sisters, Polly Noe, Florence Durfey, Ethel Nicoles; brother, Albert Gill. Survivors include his daughter, Barbara Forder; son, Richard (Mary) Gill; brother, Bill (Anne) Gill; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Gill; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11, 2008, 12 noon - 2:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the funeral service at 2:00PM. Interment to follow at Northlawn Memory Gardens, Westerville, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice.
